Location

The FERNDALE LODGE is located right on the shores of the Indian River in the small town of Sebastian Florida. With a population of over 18,000 friendly people and "six old grouches", Sebastian is fast becoming a place where people not only come to visit -- but they are coming to stay.

You will find Sebastian on the map about 1/2 way between the cities of Melbourne to the North and Vero Beach to the South. US Rt. 1 runs directly through the center of Sebastian (in fact, it is only one of two roads leading in and out of town). Remember, Sebastian is a small town, has very little traffic, and is very easy to find.

Easy directions to the Ferndale Lodge.

 From anywhere on the East Coast of Florida -- get on Interstate I-95 and go North (if you are coming from the Miami area) or go South (if you are coming from Jacksonville) to exit 156. Get off I-95 at Exit 156 -- the "Sebastian/Fellsmere exit". Go East on Sebastian Blvd - also named CR 512 - about 7 miles to the intersection of US1 and CR 512. A Hess gas station is on the left and the city’s Riverview Park is on the right. Continue straight across US1 to the River. That’s Indian River Drive. Take a right at Indian River Drive and go South for 1/2 mile. The Ferndale Lodge will be the yellow buildings on the left (River) side of the road. Drive up to the main building, find our office, and we will direct you to your room from there.

We live on the property 24/7 so we shouldn’t be too hard to find. Our office is open from 8am to 10pm unless you make arrangements otherwise. Our normal checkin time is after 3pm, and we would appreciate a phone call if your arrival time is delayed.
